APRIL 6-8, 2022: ARCHIVING THE CONTEMPORARY: MEMORY, TECHNOLOGY, AND PEOPLE

The international conference “Archiving the Contemporary: Memory, Technology, and People” aimed at bringing together archivists and researchers from the human and social sciences from India and Europe to reveal the complex and living nature of the archive, to discuss how to preserve and represent contemporary memory, technology and people in archives, and how to retrieve them.

March 5, 2020: Presentation by Archive Team during the Heritage Day

Dr. S. Ponnarasu gave an introductory talk about the Archive Project during the Heritage Day celebrations of the institute held at the Heritage Centre. The dignitaries in the audience included Prof. Bhaskar Ramamurthy, Director of IIT Madras, Prof. R Nagarajan among others.
